Resolutions New Year's Resolutions, every year people set them and when the weather starts to get warm they are all but forgotten.  And year after year I receive phone calls from people in January who are looking for love.  Don't get me wrong, this is great, we love it when our phone rings!  But when I ask them what made them decide to pick up the phone and call they say - "I set a goal to meet my match this year."  Wow!  That's a lot of pressure to put on yourself! Should You Send a Thank You Email?

Bill Husted, of the Denver Post, recently interviewed dating coach, author and Denverite Rachel Greenwald about her new book, "Why He Didn't Call You Back." During the interview he asked her this question - Should women send a thank you email after a date? Her answer, "Never. She's chasing him, and if a guy likes you, he wants to do the chasing." Should you look for someone just like you? I recently read an article (Denver Post 9/2/08) interviewing Keith Swain, a couples therapist, and some other relationship experts. The article focused on one theory of a good match. It's a question I get all the time, "how do you match people?" Well, Keith suggests that you look for someone a little different from you. Patti Novak is a tough sort of gal!

During the 2007 International Matchmaker's Conference held in NYC, I was able to speak with nationally recognized matchmaker, Patti Novak.
