2 Girls, a Guy and a Hot Dog

We recently went to a Colorado Rockies baseball game and my husband kept pointing out to me how many non-couples there seemed to be at the game. More specifically, there were a lot of guys there with 2 women. Most of the time they were quite an attractive threesome. Now I’ve always told my female friends and clients that a baseball game is a great place to meet men, so why, I asked, are these guys coming to the game with 2 beautiful women on their arm?
A Guys Opinion
My husband’s opinion on this topic was as a guy you want to go and enjoy the game – watch every play, cheer on your team, yell at the umpires, etc. Well, if you happen to be dating a gal who isn’t a big fan you won’t be able to enjoy the game. She’s going to want to chat and draw your attention to her, make multiple snack/beer/bathroom runs and well, basically ruin his full enjoyment of the game. So why not have the best of both worlds? Take your favorite gal along to the game but have her bring a friend. That way she has her gal pal that she can socialize with during the game and the guy gets to enjoy the game.
A Women’s Opinion
The women I talked to had a few different opinions on this topic. Many agree with the men – baseball is boring! It isn’t meant to be watched intently, it’s a social sport, you go for the socializing and the beer! While some women thought that maybe the guy just isn’t sure about the gal they are with so he has her bring a friend a long to avoid any uncomfortable discussions.
